Separate Ways

Twelve years ago, Rebekah started on a journey that gave Honduras a big piece of her heart. Since 2007, I’ve been blessed to experience it for myself. Answering God’s call, we’ve sought to share the Gospel by partnering with Mission Lazarus. Year after year, our love for the ministry has grown, along with our love for our brothers and sisters in Honduras.

Sadly, this part of our journey has come to an end.

There have been some differences of opinion over the past year between us and the administration of Mission Lazarus that, despite our greatest efforts, have required us to part ways.

Our hearts are broken as we leave this place that we’ve learned to call home and say goodbye to a dream that we have been nurturing for years. However, we are confident that God will bless this transition as we seek to follow His will and path into a new season of life.

We can’t thank you enough for the love, support and encouragement that you’ve shown us. The deep relationships we have fostered with the people of Honduras would not have been possible without the support of our family, friends and Christians across the world. We’ve received God’s love, grace and kindness through those we served on a daily basis, and we can’t begin to thank Him for everything we’ve learned through our time here.

We’d like to ask you to pray for the church in Honduras and for Mission Lazarus. And as we all seek to glorify God through our actions, thoughts and words, I pray that His glory will be made known among all the nations.

Sincerely,

Seth & Rebekah
